There are some twists and turns with two detectives on their trail who are at times distracted by the other. In the Dark Genius, one of the detectives isn't just shocked by what they learn but also what they experience, that leads them to take a break. This book includes some romance and a little humor too.

I got my inspiration to write stories after reading books by other authors. I got my inspiration for the Paraffin Glove from my father, and from reading books by retired FBI agents who were from the BSU.
